2022年5月11日 · It is a porch light yeah. I swapped the led to a working light and the leds barely lit up and some were dead. The other light worked fine when plugged into the dead light's controller. Wish it was just the controller, that is way easier to swap out

2021年12月4日 · Ziptied it directly to the existing light. It sticks down a bit further that the regular light so water can't be filled as high...without the bulb being in the water. I hated the water line...To combat the very thin top edge, I hated seeing the light from the front, I bought black contact paper and cut a 1.5" strip to go around the edge.

I have moved the same bulbs between houses and added new ones as I added more fixtures. I have never had an LED bulb burn out. I use Phillips Hue bulbs exclusively these days with some old-style looking LED bulbs in my dining room ...

2022年11月18日 · A: To fix mine I purchased from Home Depot 17W LED assembly PN 206186401 Then pried off the light cover with a small flat head screwdriver, replaced the LED board with the new LED board, and then my light worked. Seems like it's not meant to be a field replaceable part, but it works. use a light touch and expect to have to glue it back in place.

I scanned in a picture of the the Aerogarden array on a flatbed scanner, and got to work reverse-engineering and recreating it in KiCad. I ordered boards and built the replacement LED array, and it works just the same as the original (to a naked eye at least).

2022年6月18日 · I detest ceiling fan lights, and the new, low-cost led lights on them are the worst, so I feel your pain. If you replace the fan, you can do one of two things: 1) get a ceiling fan with NO lights and use lamps instead; or 2) get a new ceiling fan that has external light bulbs, and put in the light bulb with the wattage you prefer.
