Not entirely sure why but if you have a light fitting with more than one LED bulb you might try fitting a standard bulb into one of the sockets. That's what I did and it seemed to fix the problem across all the LED lights in the circuit. I think it may be something to do with the resistance of the light bulb. It worked, anyway!

I bought five LED lights (3 watts each), and an LED driver (max 18 watt rating, 240v AC to 12v DC) to replace the old transformer within the light fitting. Everything seemed to work fine, the lights switch on perfectly, but the moment I switch off the light, the bulbs switch off, but after 1 second, they flash once, and then switch off.

(It's too much text to copy into here.) Your choices are finding a different LED (the page lists an option), or bighting the bullet and changing the transformer.

2015年10月6日 · When I finished and connected the 12v adapter to turn them on, all the LEDs quickly flash once and then they all go out again and don't come back on. It's seems that all the strips are connected correctly so can't be a connection issue as all the light flash.

2015年2月26日 · Low power lights (leds or cfl) combined with some types of electronic switches or a switch with that little "find me at night" light will most probably flicker when off. Because the switch will allow a very low current though it when off, which will slowly charge the led/cfl internal capacitor until there is enough voltage to turn them on for a flicker.

2016年5月15日 · I have a kitchen LED light that has been working fine up until just recently when all of a sudden it will start to flash when turning it on. Sometimes it comes on and stays within a few seconds and sometimes it will take 10-15 minutes or more.

I just removed our new tape lighting and plugged it in. The brand name is Patriot Lighting 12 volt 16.4' flexible LED tape light. All it does is flash on and off. Any suggestions?
