2024年7月22日 · Unfortunately, no minifigure still fits in the driver's cab. The locomotive's top speed is not very high, but it has a lot of torque. The dimensions of the real thing are 3.0 m width of the car body x 15.4 m length x 4.3 m height above rails without roof structures (fans, signal-horns) as far as I could figure it out.

On Monday (6-25-2018), I started building this F7A inspired diesel locomotive with the bricks from my LEGO collection. This locomotive was not only inspired by the old grey train wheels and the red windscreen.

This is a model of an EMD F7 A unit diesel locomotive painted and lettered for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad. The paint and lettering are prototypical for Era III. The locomotive has traction tires and both trucks are driven by powerful ball bearing Bühler motors.
