OK, after LG logo screen disappear, push menu button on TV or its remote, does menu come up? Customer I have a universal remote and the menu did not come up-I found the remote for just the TV & tried turning it on with that remote-it responded the same way as with the universal but got a flash of something other than the logo I'm just not sure ...

Yes.. computer is on.. fyi when the logo flashes you actually do see the logo and "black"background "flash" back on at same time.. but the black background doesn't go away.. so it isn't just a small logo in the middle of screen that is flashing.. you do see a momentary milisecond movement/flash of entire screen

Customer: LG 50LA6200 starts but LG logo flashes on and then the screen goes dark. No image or sound. Another image flashes when commanded off and it turns off.
