Currently, the M8s cannot run into NYP under their own power, but extension of the third rail from Harold interlocking to maybe a kilometer north of Harold should allow for this. The cars in the shot seem to be receiving power with there tail and door indication lights working. M8's can also run on overriding 3rd rail like LIRR's EMU rolling stock.
