LL/2 (LLC1) Lewis lung carcinoma is a cell line established from the lung of a C57BL mouse bearing a tumor resulting from an implantation of primary Lewis lung carcinoma. This cell line is widely used as a model for metastasis and is useful for studying the mechanisms of cancer chemotherapeutic agents.
