Designing a logo for a new brand is a lengthy and tedious back-and-forth process between a designer and a client. In this paper we explore to what extent machine learning can solve the creative task of the designer. For this, we build a dataset -- LLD -- of 600k+ logos crawled from the world wide web.

The LLD-logo dataset is a subset of the LLD dataset, containing 122,920 logos in 400x400 pixel resolution.

It is composed of around 770k of color 256x256 RGB images extracted from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) open registry. Each of them is associated to multiple labels that classify the figurative and textual elements that appear in the images.
