Walrus Audio Mayflower vs Timmy with LM1458 chip
2012年10月12日 · Both pedals are open and transparent, but the stock Timmy is gritty while the Mayflower is smooth. By changing the chip in a Timmy to a LM1458 are these pedals pretty much identical?

2015年3月25日 · Hey guys, thanks for stopping by. I want to try the LM1458 chip in my Timmy, but I don´t know which one is the right. Here is a shop with different versions of the LM1458 but I have no clue which one fits...
"Best" transparent OD pedal? - The Gear Page
2015年3月7日 · My Gain Changer can cop Timmy-esque tones, but the Timmy has a certain openness to it that the GC can't cop. The GC is great, but I prefer it as a mid-gain OD, whereas I use the Timmy as it is "traditionally" used: end of line slightly dirty booster/tone shap

Which One Will Stay On My Board: Rockett Blue Note or Wampler …
2013年3月27日 · I don't think the Euphoria is a good replacement for your Fulldrive 2. I do think the Blue Note would be though. The Blue Note is pretty transparent, but not quite as transparent as a Timmy. The Blue Note is smoother IMO than a Timmy, but I have not tried the LM1458 version of the Timmy.
Zeek Pedal 'ZoverDrive'? | Page 3 - The Gear Page
2007年3月13日 · Hahaha, it doesn't bother me it's just that it's best not to look directly into it (which I never would have except that I didn't know the pedal was engaged). I've done a little chip swapping today but haven't done a lot of side by side testing. Right now …
