2014年5月4日 · Route to Choose for a custom LMT barrel. #1 send off sacrificial barrel to a smith to have a custom barrel made. Riverbend, etc. #2 Buy a custom AR10 barrel from Craddock, etc. and have D.wilson convert it. It's cheaper to have d.wilson convert the barrel at this point but I was gathering opinions. Plus then I can sell my unfired 6.5 LMT barrel.

DBMG has a new sytem for converting all standard AR barrels to fit MRP uppers. have you wanted a lighter barrel in your MRP? looking for better accuracy then the standard barrel? This gives you choice of any AR barrel made with out changing the standard barrel extension.

2013年10月29日 · I’ve got a chrome .308 and a stainless 6.5CM barrel for my LMT MWS. The .308 shoots 1 MOA or better consistently with 175gr SMKs. Seems to like those and 155gr A-max best. The 6.5CM stainless shoots pretty much everything I load sub 0.5MOA. Not an apples to apples comparison but that’s been my comparison.

2013年1月29日 · I have a LMT MWS with a 16" barrel that consistently shoots .80 to 1.1 inch 5 shot groups with Black Hills 168gr and good handloads. Is anybody really getting significantly smaller groups with the 18" s/s and 20" barrels?

2022年6月11日 · Word of caution: don’t try to get a heavy profile barrel converted. The barrel extension has to be pressed into the barrel with some profile limitations. I tried to have a CLE Varmint profile (1” straight for the most part) and it would have had to be turned down near the chamber to fit the extension. An SPR profile worked fine though.

2010年11月2日 · Im going to have a barrel conversion done for a new barrel on my LMT MRP ar15. i have a barrel in mind but wanted to get some opinions. If you could choose a barrel to have converted, which brand would it be and why? i'm sticking with a 16" because i dont want a p&W muzzle device.
