2017年1月28日 · The one MARS Rifle I saw at the LGS was a SLK8 (with the rifle length smooth side upper) with stainless barrel with matte black finish and on the new MARS Lower. The crazy thing, and I held it twice, was that it had an 18" barrel, the LZS1B barrel. As far as I know, LMT doesn't make a factory rifle/upper with that config, but there it was.

2025年2月25日 · LMT provides good parts support to militaries as judged by the New Zealand, Estonian and other contracts. The website linked shows the rifle for over $4000 swiss francs; I certainly hope the Swiss Army is paying less than that. Ouch! I am not a fan of LMT's piston rifles, as I think there are better designs out there (HK 416, SCAR, etc).

2020年2月29日 · 13.5 LMT MWS with a spare 20 inch 6.5cm Chassis (to be built into a complete rifle) and 2 spare barrels(16LC,18SS) 16 inch SR25 ACC 16 inch Scar 17 They are all great weapons for different reasons. While heavier, I really like the MWS because i can configure it how ever i want, and has a proven to incredibly reliable down range

2022年2月3日 · LMT’s barrel change feature and the ability to switch from a DI to piston rifle is appealing though, but I have no need for another AR at the moment. The Estonian rifle is problematic IMHO because of the pin and welded FH (unless you have a compatible suppressor that uses a bi-lock GSL style mount).

2010年8月26日 · LMT MRP CBQ is a little more modular; I belive LMT is planning on caliber swap kits. The rifle comes with a torx wrench so you can remove the barrel and swap it for the 6.8 caliber or the 12" barrel length.(ETA: mind your NFA rules)

2019年1月24日 · I do not know if it is standard stainless, nitrided, or other. Because the LMT barrel is not fluted and retains a heavier profile, it weighs noticabley more. This can be felt while shouldering the rifle. LMT does have the ability of a relatively quick change barrel and provides a torque wrench to correctly do the job.

2022年4月4日 · It's not a huge deal on an LMT rifle. The barrel comes out with two bolts being removed and you don't have to worry about handguard install/uninstall at all. Dwilson can get you squared away if you want to change the muzzle device.

2020年10月4日 · The LMT is a monolithic upper with a proprietary SS barrel which is a negative to me. And I'd rather have a CL. The LMT comes with a semi-auto carrier. Does it come with a enhanced bolt??? The rail on these are too short for my liking with a 16" barrel. I like LMT, but the G rifle is pretty much better in every way.

2020年6月9日 · No rail covers, no rail rap, nothing to try to mitigate the heat. It did start to get warm to the point where it bothered my hand, but it was never as warm as my LMT rifle with less rounds. DD rifle started to bother me at maybe 150 rounds, if not more. The LMT starts to get too hot to touch any part of the rail at 90-100.

2020年4月1日 · 1. LMT 556 Flush Mount - DO NOT BUY IT. its the only suppressor that turns the LMT normal tack-driver 10.5" into a 4 MOA rifle. (I've found no other brand has this impact on the LMT 10.5") I tried to like it, but permanently taken it out of rotation for LE due to accuracy issue.
