These loco’s worked in the Southern area of the LNER. The eighteen loco’s allocated to the North Eastern area had vacuum operated P/P gear.

Finally 35-250Z depicts loco 2093. This loco was one of the last to be repainted in full NER Green livery with N.E.R. on its tank sides as it appears to have been repainted thus after an overhaul in early March 1923, later that month LNER black with red lining became the order of the day.
