2006年1月12日 · It used to be HPF=high power factor, LPF=low power factor. Multiple LPF fittings tend to flicker and have a bad power factor. HPF fittings tend to go boom when used on a small generator as the power factor capacitor can cause instability in the generator. Most good fittings these days are HPF and available in HF or switch start.

Lots of LPF lamps will effect the overall site power factor. This has 2 problems 1) Low power factor means that everything operates less efficiently and costs more to run 2) Electricity companies start to charge extra for poor power factor figures Hope this helps
