2002年12月14日 · In the fuse block at the bottom under dash there is a spot for a 4amp fuse that says inst lps. Both sides of fuse holder are dead all the time with or without headlight switch.

LPS. and neither the spade connector nor the RH (hot) side is showing any current. So I'm wondering what color wire feeds that specific fuse...

2015年8月1日 · The fuse box is fed by a single 12ga (red) wire from the front light harness via the bulkhead connector. The only exception is the INST LPS fuse which is fed from the headlight switch.

2014年8月26日 · The LPS terminal is fused at 4A. I've seen added on factory designed accessories like cruise control and rear defroster plugged into the center tabs and these do not have inline fuses on them so it has to be protected by an existing fuse in the fuse block.

2007年11月16日 · From there, it goes to the LPS fuse in the fuseblock. This is a 4 amp fuse. From there it goes to the lamps themselves. Since you are blowing the 20 amp tail light fuse, NOT the 4 amp LPS fuse, your problem must be in the headlight switch itself. There's a few other things it could be, but not very likely.

2013年1月1日 · I first replaced the fuse although it was not blown and that didn't work. So I then took the panel off to test the red "live" wire running to this specific fuse in the back. I then noticed that this red wire also powers the 20A fuse below the "bat.fused", which is the Stop/Tail LPS fuse.
