2019年2月14日 · I went LPVO, because this gun was a jack-of-all-trades build. I want to ring steel to 600 yds, but defend the fort, too. From the reviews, this particular LPVO has a nuclear bright halo-dot reticle and a generous eyebox, and other owners said it didn't give up much if anything to a red dot. Who knows. I guess I'll find out when it comes in.

2022年12月15日 · I’ll let you know this evening when my new Primary Arms SLX 1-10x28 34mm LPVO arrives. Pretty excited, as they supposedly updated the glass and lots of other features. It’s only SFP, but for most LPVO uses, FFP isn’t necessary.

2021年3月8日 · LPVO's are used in dynamic high-stress situations in which multiple targets, often moving are engaged. If you need to engage various targets at 300-600 yards, quickly, while maintaining a FOV that encompasses all targets, you might not want your LPVO on 8x. 5x might prove to be much quicker.

2019年10月28日 · The scope body is objectively more durable than most other scopes due to the material. But I doubt the internals are really much different than a Credo/Accupower. And more force may actually be transmitted to internals when the scope body doesn’t absorb the forces as much through deformation.

2020年6月28日 · Depends on how you have the scope mounted and I'm assuming use with an AR here. Most RDSs/HWSs are forward on the receiver and their size allows for the NOD's tube to fit behind them. Most LVPO setups I've seen have the ocular lense pretty much on top of the charging handle so that's not much room.

2020年8月22日 · For a higher mag LPVO, 1-8/1-10, Id be leaning toward a higher scope mount, and raise the offset red dot height slightly. Likely 1.7” height scope mount and 1.93” mount for the red dot. With the LPVO, you can CQB on 1x primarily and mag up for longer shots.

2018年12月25日 · Honestly, most of the higher-end optics are very good and will fit the bill. I have my favorites, and right now my main optic is the NF NX8 1-8x, which is the brightest illumination I’ve seen yet in an LPVO (different illumination than the ATACR). My Kahles is an amazing scope, and it has a massive eyebox and a huge FOV.

2022年11月21日 · Another method is to look at an object at 1x while quickly moving the scope in and out of your view observing that same object and adjusting the diopter until the object presents itself as the same size with or without looking through the scope(IMO, the former is a bit easier to do. The latter takes some practice).
