2023年4月18日 · It bolts up to the LS4 but there some clearance issues that can be corrected by grinding the LS4 block, and aftermarket mounts (made to order). The 4T80E is rated for pike 450ft-lbs but guys have successfully put up to 600ft-lbs of crank torque through that transmission with slicks on the front.

The engine most of these people are putting in their trans sport minivans are likely the LS4, which was built to be installed in transverse applications (Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, Chevy Impala SS) and has the bolt pattern to match the 4T60/65 in those cars.

2020年4月16日 · My '04 Bonneville GXP has the FWD LD8 version of the Northstar and a friend told me that I could easily swap it with the FWD LS4 which according to him has the same engine bay mounts and will work with my stock transmission (4T80E) as well as my current intake. I want to confirm this before I attempt to put the money into getting an LS4 motor.
