The Richard Trenbeth Collection consists of a war time cruise map for the LST 828 from Biloxi, MS to Pearl Harbor and then back and forth across the eastern Pacific. Richard Trenbeth also wrote a war time journal of his experiences in the ROTC, military training, and on the LST 828.

This series contains a framed war time cruise map for the LST 828. The cruise is traced from Biloxi, MS through the Panama Canal to Pearl Harbor. From Pearl Harbor the LST 828 travelled several times to the eastern Pacific and most notably participated in the invasion of Okinawa.
