As the largest art department in Louisiana and the fourth-largest major at LSU, the School of Art brings together more than 35 full-time faculty members and 500 undergraduate and graduate students to explore and embrace studies in art history, ceramics, digital art, graphic design, painting & drawing, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

We believe that travel is crucial to an education in art and design. Our programs in architecture, art, art history, interior design, and landscape architecture offer a variety of opportunities for students to travel.

The Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design enables students in the College of Art & Design to become broadly educated in the study of art, while also having a declared minor, double major, or approved course of study.
