The mission of the Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy is to train, certify and support emergency responders to safely perform basic and advanced skills through the delivery of high quality, relevant and accredited training curriculum developed to meet the needs of the ever-changing Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical industries.

Available training will be limited to events matching all of the criteria provided below. Past and unpublished training is never displayed.

All registration is to be submitted by the Training Coordinator of your agency through the Acadis portal. The public Available Training calendar is available for viewing upcoming classes. To be registered for a class or testing, you must have an Acadis Portal account. If you have not obtained one, please follow the directions HERE.

The FETA Emergency Medical Training program is a staff of veteran paramedics with real-world experience using the latest medical technologies. We offer several classes across many different certification levels. Training is provided either at FETA Baton Rouge, or we can custom-tailor a program at your place of business.

The LSU‐FETI Recruit Fire Academy course is designed for entry‐level firefighters and is taught under the same paramilitary chain of command used in today’s fire departments. Rules and regulations are implemented in the class and discipline will be imposed.
