Our aim to study the incidence, demographics, inpatient stay, use of imaging and outcomes of patients who have non-operatively managed NOF fractures. The data was collected retrospectively for the last 14 years (Jan 2009- Jan 2023) of all non-operatively managed NOF fractures at a level 2 trauma centre.

Treatment of a femoral neck fracture depends on several factors and can be fixed in a number of ways, such as with a short gamma nail, long gamma nail or partial replacement (hemiarthroplasty). Important factors include the amount of displacement of the fracture and the age of the patient.
