2016年7月20日 · The Lt1/4 are the same block. I don't think there is a big advantage to the Lt4 heads. I'm sure the additional bolt is just added because of boost, but thats a guess. I ran up to 20 lbs of boost on my Lt1 heads and never lifted the heads, some are running more boost then that.

2002年10月9日 · My 95 LT1 heads were ported by the same guy who did my LT4 heads. The flow #s are pretty much the same on the lower lift, THe LT4 is a touch lower, but they flow better up higher. 2007年1月24日 · There is an in depth comparison between LT4 heads and LT1 heads at the grandsport registry site. LT4 heads are superior and leave room for additional porting. Even the best ported LT1 heads won't flow as well as a good set of ported LT4 heads. Stock for Stock LT4 heads flow measurably better than LS1 heads.

2002年4月13日 · On my LT4 I can see the raised "LT4" cast into the heads by looking thru the oil fill. I assume there's a matching cast in the other head. Ah yes, the "LT4" is cast on the heads as well.

2002年7月2日 · Comparing AFR's own numbers for the 195 Competition ported heads to my ported LT4 heads, they are very similar. Theirs flow a bit higher on exhaust at .600, mine flow significantly higher on intake at .300.

2004年5月18日 · There are a couple others offering heads for the LTx engines but I beleive that AFR is the only one doing LT4 heads specifically. Others offer CNC porting services on the factory LT4 heads but I doubt that they are getting that kind of flow numbers with a stock casting.
