The Panzerkampfwagen 38 (t), originally known as the Českomoravská Kolben-Daněk (ČKD) LT vz. 38, was a tank designed during the 1930s, which saw extensive service during World War II. [3] . Developed in Czechoslovakia by ČKD, the type was adopted by Nazi Germany following the German occupation of Czechoslovakia. [3] .

LTL Light tank offered to the Lithuanian Army; the only ČKD tank with a rear-mounted drive wheel. The tank was to weigh 7.2 to 8 tons and be equipped with a 100 hp engine.

2014年10月7日 · In the end, the result was basically a heavily modified LTH with 37mm Škoda gun and with the reliable Praga TNHP engine. As such, the vehicle was designated as LLT (“Lehký litevský tank” – Light Lithuanian Tank). The modifications were however so extensive, that the delays caused by them were already starting to be a major problem.

ČKD developed two design series very similar in appearance in the 1930s. The first one with front drive tracks, very successful in export, was called LTL-H (Lithuanian-Helvet light tank). The second one ended with the production of one experimental rear-wheel drive vehicle and was designated LTL (Lithuanian light tank).

It was a mid-size light tank, bigger and roomier than the export AH-IV tankette which looked like a scaled-down model. It was armed with the new Skoda A7 37 mm (1.46 in) gun which was envisioned as an antitank weapon, but with provision of HE and AP shells (90 rounds).
