The Individual Carbine A2 (IC-A2) hails directly from the rifles LWRCI developed for the U.S. Army’s Individual Carbine Program. The requirements for this program called for a weapon that was accurate, reliable, fully ambidextrous, and would accept 1913 picatinny rail accessories.
