Welcome to LA519, a resource of hope and action in the journey toward mental well-being and suicide prevention. Our name, LA519, holds a profound meaning that encapsulates our mission and inspiration.

LA519 is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to support local young people who have mental health issues that may result in suicide. The charity was set up by Barry Aughey and Deirdre Costello in memory of their son Luke who died by suicide on 25th May 2019.

LA519 founded in 2021 has been arranging training throughout Co. Monaghan and surrounding counties.
