Kierin Magenta Kirby (born August 15, 1963), known professionally as Lady Miss Kier, is an American singer, songwriter and DJ. Lady Miss Kier was the vocalist for the band Deee-Lite. She is a social, environmental, and human rights activist.

2020年7月4日 · Deee-Lite were formed of Dmitry Brill aka Supa DJ Dmitry (b.1964), Kierin Kirby aka Lady Miss Kier (b.1963) and Dong-hwa Chung better known as Towa-Tei (b.1965). Originally Dmitry and Miss Kier performed in clubs but were joined by Towa-Tei in 1988 and began recording together.

2024年6月22日 · Deee-lite formed in 1986 in New York City, with Ohio-native, Lady Miss Kier on vocals and songwriting, Ukrainian-born Dmitry Brill, 60, and Korean-Japanese Jungle DJ Towa Tei, 59. Lady Kier majored in textile design at New York's Pratt Phoenix School of Design, but later dropped out to focus on songwriting.

The band began in 1986 as a duo, in New York City, with Lady Miss Kier (born Kierin Magenta Kirby, primarily on vocals) and Supa DJ Dmitry (born in USSR as Dmitry Brill) as DJ. The two then became a trio when Korean-Japanese DJ Towa Tei joined the group in 1988.
