I mean, Marinette's hair is blue because it references old comics where black hair was highlighted using blue, ie Wonder Woman and more super heroes. But yes, the Yin Yang complementary character designs are a nice bonus. Though now I want to make a Twilight Zone inspired nonsense with those inverted background colors.
