It is the smallest of the four Lombard lakes and is also of glacial origin. Located exactly on the border of the provinces of BG/BS (in fact we speak of the Brescia side and the Bergamo side), in the southern part it overlooks Franciacorta and is not far from the Po Valley, while the northern part is already projected towards the Camonica valley.
