Der Lai da Tuma, beziehungsweise der Tomasee auf Deutsch, liegt auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Tujetsch im Kanton Graubünden in einer wundervollen Gerbirgslandschaft. Der Bergsee liegt in einer Mulde auf einer Höhe von 2343 Metern über Meer und hat eine Fläche von etwa zweieinhalb Hektaren.

Der Tomasee, rätoromanisch Lag da Toma oder Lai da Tuma, ist ein See im Kanton Graubünden in den Schweizer Alpen. Er wird vom Rein da Tuma durchflossen und liegt in der Gotthard-Gruppe auf 2344 m ü. M. [1], unterhalb des Badus, unweit von Tschamut/ Sedrun und in der Nähe des Oberalppasses.

The route then goes up to Lake Tomasee, which is also called Lai da Tuma. . The Rein da Tuma flows through it and lies in the Gotthard Group at 2,344 meters above sea level.

Er leiden verschillende paden naar het Lai da Tuma. De route vanaf de Oberalppass is zonder twijfel de mooiste. Hij begint op de pas, waar een replica van de vuurtoren van Katwijk aan Zee staat. Bij die plaats mondt de Oude Rijn uit in de Noordzee, na een reis van 31 dagen en 1230 kilometer vanaf het Lai da Tuma.
