The Village of Lake Zurich’s Park and Recreation Department facilitates programs and services from the Paulus Park Barn, Chalet, Buffalo Creek Buildings A and B, and works to oversee 247 acres of park property throughout the Village’s 32 parks.

The Village of Lake Zurich Park and Recreation Department would like everyone to have a safe and enjoyable trip to our beaches this year, so we ask all visitors to follow these simple regulations established for the comfort and safety of all attendees.

The Village of Lake Zurich offers a multitude of public park spaces throughout the community. About 245 acres of park assets are spread across our 32 public parks featuring a variety of amenities, from beaches, to playgrounds to playing surfaces.

Rock The Block is an outdoor festival where attendees can Dine, Dance, and Discover downtown Lake Zurich. Three live bands will take the stage for an evening of music, food, and fun for adults. Musical entertainment plays on a covered stage at the corner of Old Rand Road and Main Street.

Lake Zurich boosts a variety of single-family homes, townhomes and apartments in neighborhoods surrounded by parks. There are sheer endless opportunities for outside recreation and two signature parks, with beaches on the lake.

This summer, we're excited to introduce our latest offering: Live at the Lake. Stay tuned for the upcoming details as we prepare this new series of live entertainment, activities, and memories by the water.

Lake Zurich continues to prioritize local . infrastructure investment. • In 2024, Lake Zurich undertook an extensive $5.6 million . capital improvement project that replaced thousands of feet . of aged water mains in the Cedar Creek neighborhood and along Routes 22 and Rand Road. The Village also resurfaced the entirety of Golfview Road.
