2025年2月12日 · There was a death many years ago, I saw a video re-enactment of it. A shot hit an overhead baffle and ricochet'd, struck somene sitting in a chair and killed them. I think it was in Brighton, MI, but not 100% sure. It was in the late 80's I think.

2009年5月4日 · The more I shoot and the more I watch others shoot, the more I'm convinced the 1911 represents the apex of big bore sidearm design. A second, modern 1911 with some late 20th-century refinements will likely be my next choice.

2024年12月17日 · I had a few failures to eject in late 2023 and bought a new extractor. Comparing it to the old one, you could visibly see wear on the old one. I changed it out with the new one and went all of 2024 without a single ejection issue. I'm almost thinking about changing it out every year now.

2015年3月26日 · Other than that my Match is stock and works great. No failure to feed or fire in approximately 10,000 rounds (I'd have to look it up but I need to make dinner before my wife wakes up. 2024年12月22日 · Try drawing stupid-slow dry-fire. Like 10- or even 30-second draws. Do several, watch what your hands and body are doing. Also do them in reverse, starting from indexed on a target back to the holster. Especially concentrate on how you acquire the grip with your strong hand, then weak hand and index to the target.

2018年1月24日 · I increased the powder charge by .2 and it made my gun track up and down. My PF went from 171 to about 174-175, each gun is funny like that. I'm not saying this is your problem but someone recommended this to me and it worked. It goes without saying, be careful and watch for pressure signs if you choose to try this.
