Lau Gar Kwun is a basic Southern pole form, the name of which translates as ‘Lau’s Family Fist’. It is one of a pair of forms, along with Lau Gar Kuen / Lau’s Family Fist, that were brought into the Hung Gar system and memorialize a clan named ‘Lau’.
