The Associated Student Union (ASU) is the vibrant hub of student life and representation at Los Angeles Valley College. Committed to enhancing the collegiate experience, ASU serves as the primary liaison between the student body and the college administration.

The Associated Student Union (ASU) is a student run organization that represents the interests of students at Los Angeles Valley College. It is comprised of two branches: the Executive Council (a board of student elected and appointed positions), and the Inter-Club Council (a board of representatives from all the clubs on campus).

All LAVC students are already members of the ASU. Getting more involved is simple. All you have to do is pay the $10 ASU semester membership (SIS Portal or in the Business Office) and you are ready to get involved. You can enjoy the many student-centered events, activities and programs that the ASU provides throughout the year.

Associated Student Union Scholarship 1. The applicant must be currently enrolled at Los Angeles Valley College and must have a GPA between 2.5 and 3.4. The student must be enrolled in at least 6 units for the Spring Semester and have paid their ASO fee.
