LazyTown is an Icelandic-British-American co-produced children's television musical series. It was created by Magnús Scheving, an aerobics champion who also plays the character Sportacus, and it is based upon his Icelandic stage plays Áfram Latibær! (itself based on an Icelandic children's book from 1995) and Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ.

Welcome to LazyTown is the theme song to LazyTown. It plays at the beginning of every episode after the cold open. It introduces the main characters alongside showing off aspects of the town. This version has three verses and was used for the first two seasons.
