Always amazed by this dusty part of sky, here we have a couple patches of of dark nebulae, featuring LBN 573 & LBN 575, floating in my favorite Constellation Cepheus.

2018年1月30日 · Here is an image of Bright Nebulae LBN 575 and LBN 573. I say "bright", but Lynds annotated these two as barely detectable (6/6 and 5/6 respectively where 1/6 is brightest). The image has a fairly aggressive stretch in order to see the dim features (so you also see somewhat bloated stars).

LBN 575 is in the upper left; LBN 573 is in the lower right. Within LBN 575 are dark nebulae LDN 1259, 1261 and 1262 LDN 1262 is the largest and most opaque and is roughly equivalent to Dobashi 3610.
