2023年9月12日 · Yes, I can confirm that it works perfectly TrueHD and DTS passthrough and Dolby Vision in Plex for Fire TV Cube 3, but you must have updated Fire Cube 3 to the latest version (7.6.5.2) for it to work. In fact, i have retired my Shield TV Pro for the Cube 3 as it has Alexa built in with its own speaker and i use it with home assistant every day.

2025年2月19日 · I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client app, cleared the cache and rebooted both the server and FireTV multiple times. Any ideas? Thanks. I also tested this on 2 other FireTV Sticks and nothing can see the server. I double checked the firewall settings and Plex is wide open for the client and media server.

But is that only for the Nvidia Shield Pro?

2024年3月11日 · Can anybody tell me if plex is actually able to pass through DTS on a 3rd gen fire tv cube? I have enabled HDMI pass through on plex, the fire TV is set to best available and is plugged into a Denon S770H which can handle pretty much any audio format thrown at it.

2023年7月17日 · Hello everyone, I am testing my alternatives here and having some strange behavior with plex on Fire TV Cube gen3, let me know if anyone experience the same and/or can help. This unit is supposed to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos as of the current firmware from July 2023, and it works with caveats.
