2013年4月22日 · I'd definitely purchase a release of the New Leave it to Beaver series. Of course nothing can top the first series, but the new show did try to stay true to the basic premise of the original. And it did bring back all the old cast (other than Hugh Beaumont, who had sadly passed away just before this new series got started), and they did well.

2023年10月20日 · I’ve watched Beaver Gets Spelled and Captain Jack. As I’ve never seen this series on any home video format, I think the blu ray looks great! I think some felt the DVD’s were of very high quality and the blu ray is a modest improvement. To me, the blu rays looks great! Like the recent Gomer Pyle release. Beaver Gets Spelled looks very nice.

The 1st season DVD from Universal does not have this problem, opening teasers are placed properly, before the opening credits.

2007年2月21日 · We know through the CBS syndication bible that CBS/Paramount did their HD transfers prior to the DVD releases. Therefore, it made sense for them to use the same masters. However, with Universal it isn't common knowledge whether they even had HD masters prior to the Shout! DVD release. The Shout! release could have been based on existing SD masters.
