Leetu's story in The End And the Death 3 has him sitting in a room waiting to be interrogated, studying multiple tarot decks and specifically a card called "The Revenger". My crack theory is: Leetu will found the Silver Skulls chapter. The evidence: Silver Skulls are very big on prognostication and foretelling.

The exact details appear to be a bit unclear since the carpace was created later on in the process, after the primarchs were created. However, Leetu does seem to be able to use his power armor without any problems.

For all we know, he has been scavenging parts to keep his armor functional. SM power armor is also a mix of STC designs combined with whatever modifications are needed to make it work/fit with SMs.

Chaos and Reality are colliding so hard, that the true Vengeful Spirit is manifesting back in bits and pieces as a reflection of the ongoing battle's fortunes. Leetu is now in a battle with Chaos scavengers nomming on Sanguinuis' corpse.
