So for me the anticipation is worse than the actual surgery sometimes. I doubt I'll be saying that after the IV comes out and the good drugs go away.

2018年10月26日 · This is my bad ankle anyway, and it wasn't happy all summer, It was inflamed from a flareup of an osteochondral defect on my talus bone. I couldn't get a cortisone shot because it would have set back my TKR by 3 more months. It's been a stable defect for 5-6 years, but I reactivated it in July after walking on a lot of uneven ground.

2016年11月17日 · I am going on 3 months after left TKR. Right away after the surgery I noticed pins and needles in my left foot along the sole of my foot and my toes. I was told that it is was because of the nerve block used during the surgery and would go away. The pain was still present when I was discharged from the hospital was given gabapentin for the pain.

2016年8月15日 · TKR: Ceasing aggressive physical therapy after surgery Suggest you give your knee time to heal, focus on getting your hot swollen knee to settle down, until then your ROM will be blocked and all attempts to bend your knee will only set you back. TKR: Evidence shows that less really is more when it comes to exercising!

2018年9月2日 · Had left TKR 1/9/17. I did great during surgery, post-op, recovery, PT, etc., from January 2017 till October 2017. Had the Cconformis knee. I was released from PT in April 2017. Kept doing exercises all summer and fall. In Sep/Oct I added addition strengthening exercises gradually as the leg with the TKR was noticeably (to me) less muscular/toned.
