I have an M4-P that has a new viewfinder (MP style) except for the front glass, which is different. But, CLA’s from Leica Germany for film cameras are effectively a year right now.

I would rate the M4-2 as the worse (most problematic) and the M4-P as Leica incorporating all the M4-2 to correct flaws found in that camera. 2012年3月21日 · M4-P over the M6 if you don't want those distracting red-haze-causing LEDs in your VF. In low lght situations, the in-camera meter can be blinking and make it challenging to compose a shot. So, no question what I would do in your shoes: go with the simplicity of the M4-P. BTW, it is a very practical and smooth tool to use.

2016年1月6日 · The M4-2 top plates are brass as are the early M4-P top plates. The Zinc Alloy top plates were introduced to overcome the distortion problems found in a few M4-2 brass plates. In spite of the stories of corrosion I have never come across any myself (I have, of course seen pictures and heard stories).
