2022年2月7日 · My personal opinion having owned both. Les Baer cuts a lot of corners in his builds. So if aesthetics are big to you get a WC. Also Les Baer's sight options are crap too. All that said, Baer builds a very accurate gun. Wilson is a better gun in just about every facet. However your looking at buying one of those new hybrid 1911 offerings they offer.

2024年4月19日 · Thank you tas6691. The first time I handled a Les Baer was while I was in the Army and stationed in Hawaii back around 1996-1997. I was amazed at the fit and finish. I handled one again around 2009 - 2010 and thought the same - a well made, smooth, tight, pistol. I wish I would have bought one 20 years ago!

2024年11月2日 · I removed the Baer front sight from a Monolith side for re-blueing the pistol. Used a dremel tool to cut the front leg of the sight (the pin leg) and pulled the pined leg with now problem. After refinishing, I installed a new Baer fiber optic sight and found the pin hole in the new Baer sight did not line up with pin hole in the slide.

2024年11月21日 · My first les baer, my first "nice" 1911. I hoped this thing would run. I was not disapointed! It didn't stop running untill I ran out of ammo. A typical rainy WA day and 1,120 rounds later, I'm extremely happy with it. The gun was pretty tight out the box. It came with 2 tripp cobra 10rd mags and the 2nd worst sights ive used (glock is #1).

2024年12月24日 · I'm conflicted. I bought my "new" Les Baer UTC with Baer Trijicon front and rear sights with expired tritium elements. Okay for the moment, but then what? Though I don't want tritium replacements, I don't have the expertise to replace the sights myself, especially if file-fitting's involved. Then, there's the pinned front.
