Alexa Leary OAM (born 18 August 2001) is an Australian Paralympic swimmer. She won a gold medal and silver medal at the 2023 World Para Swimming Championships. She won two gold medals and a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Alexa Leary shouldn’t be alive. The budding triathlete suffered a life-threatening cycling accident while training on the Sunshine Coast in 2021. The 22-year-old clipped the bike in front of her at 75km/h, sending her into the air, landing on her head.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, Lex will launch 'Flex for Lex', a fundraising appeal for Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH), assisting families, like hers, who need support while their loved one is being treated in intensive care.
