Tat Lim is a dispute resolution practitioner, and the managing partner of a boutique law firm based in Singapore. For close to three decades of practice, he has appeared as counsel in trials and appeals at all levels of the Singapore courts, in negotiations, neutral evaluations and mediations, and in domestic and international arbitrations.

Lim Tat is the managing partner of Aequitas Law LLP. He founded the firm in 2008 with the goal of providing sophisticated legal services to clients who treasure discrete and personalised attention.

Lim Tat has received appointments as expert on Singapore law in foreign proceedings, as sole arbitrator in arbitrations administered by SIAC and LSAS, and as sole mediator in mediations administered by SMC, SCCDR and FJC. Notable cases include disputes involving assets in excess of US$200 million.
