Linville Caverns is a seasonal operation. During March - November we are open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays. We are closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Our hours currently are 9am-5pm. During December - February we are currently open Thursday-Monday & closed during Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Linville Caverns are privately owned active limestone caverns located in northern McDowell County, North Carolina, just south of the village of Linville Falls, on U.S. Highway 221. The caverns are open to the public year-round for guided tours.

Have been to the area before but never visited Linville Caverns. Tickets are $13 a piece (adult) which is a reasonable price for a 30 minute guided tour. Owners have done a good job preserving the cave system while opening it up to tourists.
