2017年7月18日 · Hello, I’ve only had the Fundoplication surgery. So I can’t answer about the LINX surgery. But I do think you have more gas from the Fundoplication surgery. But I will take that over the other symptoms. Before you had your LINX surgery.

2017年7月18日 · I just had surgery on Jan 22nd 2019 to re-repair a large hiatal hernia and my surgeon who does the LINX procedure undid a Nissan wrap from 24yrs ago that had slipped. She then applied the LINX band. I've been heartburn free for the 1st time on 30yrs.

I did a lot of research and looked on the Linx website and luckily found a doctor that has 35 years experience with digestive surgery. I wasn't a candidate for the Linx but he gave me the option of having a partial gastrectomy (80% removal) with a roux en y.

2020年12月18日 · In 2012 my husband went to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and had the Linx surgery for acid reflux and gerd. It has been very successful. He takes no medicine and had no problems from the procedure. They place a titanium braclet around the lower esophagus that opens to let food in, but won't let food come back out.

Today I would like to hear from those that have either heard about or have had the Linx procedure for severe GERD. I'm going to raise the topic at my next appointment with my GI specialist.
