In The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire, Littlefoot makes friends with the Rainbow Faces, who support him in his sighting of an object they call a "Stone of Cold Fire".

After meeting several young dinosaurs along the way who would become his best friends, they arrive in the verdant Great Valley where the series primarily takes place. In Journey Through the Mists, Littlefoot is introduced to his female cousin Ali, a member of another Longneck herd. [7]

As an intense storm occurs, Littlefoot leads the Yellow Bellies onto a plateau for shelter, but Doofah becomes separated from the group, going the wrong direction. Once the storm ends, Littlefoot and his friends were able to find her and she rejoins the group.

Ruby is a new friend of Littlefoot and his friends and appears in the television series and Journey of the Brave. She is a pink Oviraptor , also called a " Fast Runner " in the Land Before Time series.

Bio: Chomper was originally saved by Littlefoot and the rest of the gang when he was just an egg. Because of this, he’s friends with them and helped them to avoid his parents in LBT 5: The Mysterious Island. His diet today consists of only bugs, but it’s presumed that he eat meat back when he lived with his parents.

In the original film, a group of dinosaurs leave their disasters-stricken home lands for the Great Valley, a place of promise and opportunity. Along the way, a young brontosaurus ("Long Neck") named Littlefoot becomes separated from his group and watches his mother die to protect him from a Tyrannosaurus Rex ("Sharptooth").
