Liyan Zhu received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA in 2020 and 2022, respectively. He joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech as a research scientist in Nov 2022, where he is now an Assistant Professor.
