The United Palace (originally Loew's 175th Street Theatre) is a theater at 4140 Broadway in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, United States. The theater, occupying a city block between Broadway, Wadsworth Avenue, and West 175th and 176th Streets, is both a house of worship and a cultural center.

The Loew’s 175 th Street Theater was built as one of the Loew’s Wonder Theatres, five extravagant flagship movie palaces constructed in 1929-30 in the vicinity of New York City. The theater is a veritable palace, its exterior a flamboyant display built during a time of extreme austerity, undoubtedly meant to uplift Depression-era audiences.

Built in 1930 as one of Loew’s “Wonder Theatres,” the United Palace was one of the region’s premier vaudeville and movie houses.

Loew’s closed the Loew’s 175th Street Theatre in March 1969 with Keir Dullea in “2001:A Space Odyssey”. The theatre became home to Christ United Church, founded by the late evangelist Reverend Ike, and was known as The Palace Cathedral for church services.
