Die Fahrzeuge der BDŽ-Baureihe 46 waren Güterzug-Tenderlokomotiven der bulgarischen Staatsbahn BDŽ mit der Achsfolge 1’F2’. Die BDŽ beschaffte in zwei Serien 1931 und 1943 insgesamt 20 Lokomotiven dieser Baureihe, die die stärkste bulgarische Dampflokomotivbaureihe ist.

With the arrival of TOPS they were renumbered to Class 46. Along with the similar Class 44 and 45 locomotives, they became known as Peaks.

2007年4月3日 · Die Baureihe 46 war die größte Tenderlokomotive der BDŽ und ihre stärkste Dampflokbaureihe überhaupt, sie gehört auch zu den größten einrahmigen Tenderlokomotiven weltweit. Alle Lokomotiven überstanden den Zweiten Weltkrieg und wurden entsprechend ihrer Bestimmung vor allem vor schweren Güterzügen eingesetzt.

Den här loktypen är ett standardlok konstruerat främst för godstrafik som hittills tillverkats i över sju hundra exemplar för åtskilliga europeiska trafikföretag. Loket ingår i tillverkaren Bombardiers Traxx-serie. Många av loken av denna typ köptes av tyska DB Cargo (tidigare Railion) där loken har beteckningen 185.
