2020年6月7日 · Given it is too hot out to do anything, here you go. The pics are out of focus due to poor lighting and holding the camera by hand, but the pics are a very close representation of what I saw with the naked eye. 1-6x lpvo with an improvised front sight to simulate a normal carbine A2 fsb. 1x 1.5x 2x 2.5x 3x 4x The setup.
LPVO guys....what distance zero? > Optics, Mounts, and Sights
2019年6月5日 · The Razor was my first LPVO, followed by another Razor, a couple of PA Platinum 1-8s, and a Burris MTac, so I just stuck to zeroing everything at 200 to make it easy to remember everything. Everyone's rifle/ammo combo is different, but for me, with MK262 ammo and a 200 yard zero, the 300 and 400 yard sub-tensions work out to within 5 yards or ...
Using backup iron sights with LPVOs? - AR15.COM
2019年2月10日 · On my LPVO's, I've been going the way of non-QD mounts mainly for weight savings and I don't expect to swap optics on those AR's. On those setups, the LPVO rides on top of the rear folded iron sight. The only way to deploy it is to take a hex wrench and remove the scope/mount. This would not be a quick deploy system.
LPVO vs Holographic ---- requesting personal use reports
2021年6月17日 · LPVO will never have the same huge eyebox at 1x compared to a holo or red dot. Once you're off axis sight picture goes black (although you may see still see the illuminated reticle.) LPVOs are a compromise.. pretty good 1x, pretty good magnification in a single package.
Mounting a scope on a rifle with A2 front sight post. - AR15.COM
2016年12月13日 · I mounted a 1-4x24 Vortex Viper PST atop a government model Windham (20" barrel). Fully intending to remove the front sight (A2), I ordered a low profile gas block. The scope is attached to the rifle w/ an ADM Recon. With 1x I clearly see the upper 1/4 (approximately) of the front sight. Doesn't bother me in the least. I was pleasantly surprised.

2024年11月14日 · I am looking at changing an optic on one of my go to 16” rifles with a front sight base. I’m running a Holosun AEMs on it right now, but I want an etched reticle of some sort. I picked up an LPVO about a year or two ago and love it. It was a Primary Arms Special Purchase LPVO based on a GLx body with the Aurora reticle. I love this reticle.
Recommendations - Red Dot paired with LPVO - AR15.COM
2024年10月20日 · The 1x on my lpvo isn't bad but it's definitely quicker getting to an offset. I'm not getting rid of my buis but in future builds I will put a dot on instead of buis I think. I just shot last week with my lpvo and an acog with a offset aimpoint my son has set up and I liked his better.

Zeroing LPVO > Optics, Mounts, and Sights > AR15.COM
2020年7月22日 · i've always done 50/200 with aimpoints, and older LPVO but when i recently moved to a 1.93" mount, 50/200 doesn't really work anymore. since the NF 1-8 has pretty usable mil reticle, i just went back to the 100yd zero i've used in all my scopes with mil reticles.
