The Lawrence Region AACA was chartered in 1976, following several years as a chapter of the Topeka Region AACA. Our members are dedicated to the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of old cars. Our cars range from Model T’s, Model A’s, a Liberty, classic Chevys, Fords, Cadillacs, to Mustangs, Tri-Five Chevys, GTOs, and Camaros.

It provides buyers the opportunity to seek those hard-to-find parts and sellers to part with surplus inventory. We use proceeds to provide scholarships to local high school graduates, donations to social service organizations and provide Christmas to some senior citizens.

Our members are dedicated to the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of old cars. We sponsor two major events each year: a swap meet in May and a car show in October.

Organized by Lawrence Region AACA, Lawrence Automotive Swap Meet 2025 will be held on May 2-4, 2025 at Douglas County KS Fairgrounds in Lawrence, KS.
