2022年7月13日 · Have any of y’all played Lux-Pain? It was a DS visual novel that I bought as a teenager solely because I thought the cover looked interesting. Honestly I thought the concept of the game was fascinating and that it had loads of potential but was held back by possibly the worst localization I’ve ever seen in a modern, officially translated game.

Lux-Pain is set in the historical Kisaragi City, a town plagued by mysteries from small mishaps to murders - with no logical explanation as to why these events occur. It seems "Silent", a worm born through hate and sadness, has infected humans and forced them to commit atrocious crimes. The heroes' parents, Atsuki, are the victim of such crimes.
